Opioid Addiction

It is estimated that 21 million (USA Today) people suffer from addiction in America today. Of those 11.4 million (HHS.gov) are addicted to prescription medication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, there are over 70,000 drug overdose deaths per year (2016), with one of the largest percentage of those over-doses being opioid deaths, and those numbers are rising by 10% (2017) annually.
